Confession

Since this project began both my partner and I have gone through multiple problems mostly concerning our materials. I feel we could have tried harder to get our materials earlier so we could finish our project. To be honest Ryan and I did not take advantage of our time correctly though we finished our papers, reports, etc. on time. I feel it was important to get our physical project finished. I have no doubt we will be done by friday, but that does not hide the fact we wasted some time.

Another problem we encountered was the wood provided. When we found out we needed wood for our project we expected we could use any kind of wood, but as we read the schematic closer it turned out we needed hard wood. Again I have no doubt we will finish by Friday, but again it doesn't hide the fact that we didn't read carefully.

Story of Stuff Reflection

After watching the story of stuff i realize that my family and I fall under the consumer category. As a tech savvy family we are always looking for the newer, the bigger, and the best things. After realizing this I saw that my family just disposed of the waste just so the once used computers/i pods can just reunite with the material Economy. I feel the only way to reduce our part in global impact, is to reduce our spending, by not buying the bigger and better thing, and i hope everyone else who has the same problem does the same.

Blog #2 My First Week of School

My first week of school was just great. I walk into to class greeted by familiar faces and some unfamiliar but still wowed by my handsomeness and charm. Her at hthma Fun is just spread through out the school and, what's great is how around everyone is friendly. Just knowing this made my first week amazing, but that's not the only thing. Honestly I usually don't enjoy school, but the teachers here make everything an experience, all the teachers are the closest thing you will every get to having a friend. Monday through wednessday was fun, even the placement test taken on Wednesday had a little laughs. But sadly Thursday I became Sick; my mom said it was The swine flu but she was just over reacting. So to celebrate we left for New York. This first week i had some great times, and for the next year i hope to have more.
